deck the halls & a Christmas outdoor tablescape

Tis the season has begun at Country Chic Homes. & what other way to start the season but with an outdoor tablescape? Join me today as I share with you some Christmas magic.

There's just something special about twinkling lights on a tree & when it's outdoors, with a simple tablescape makes it even better & for a romantic Christmas setting.

To bring in the season, I styled a tablescape with my beautiful, ruffled tablecloth. My red transferware made its appearance in a stack of three. Rolled silverware in a cotton napkin gently tied with green velvet ribbon. A set of glassware set at each setting, a milk glass goblet & Vintage kings crown ruby red shot glasses.

The centerpiece green glass Christmas trees where I set on top of my wood riser. The trees of different heights create depth—each sparkling from the twinkling lights of the tree next to the table. Different height pillar candles were added for that extra romance. A tip: if you want to create a romantic vibe with candles while burning them down, blow them out at different heights. I do this all the time with all of my candles.

As for the setting, they tied it all together: a 7.5' artificial tree, pre-lit. No ornaments were needed, just the delicate lights for a beautiful star-shining night. As for the tree skirt, to cover the legs with a vintage grain sack around them. But for the final touch, a Wooden Village Tree Collar that went around the entire tree, I was in awe when I plugged it in & saw the magic it created under the tree & the glow that it gave all around. It is such a delicate piece that had such a significant impact in this space. A French-picking harvest crate is nestled near the corner of the table filled with Christmas garlands & an ornament garland that I painted white last year. The curtain of twinkling lights behind the Christmas scene gave the right amount of light to give balance where needed.

I hope that I have inspired you to create your outdoor tablescape this Christmas season. It can be done with twinkle lights & a Christmas tree & layers of Christmas elements. Tis the season!
