There is just something so special about October, is it that the weather starts to feel like fall, is it that leaves on the trees start to turn a golden yellow & start to fall, or is it because it is the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year? Whichever & for whatever reason it is for you, I am happy to say HELLO October.
I'll be chatting about the two posts that I will be sharing today over on Insta. Why two posts? Well, I have so much content that I want to share with you. I feel I will run out of time if I don't double up on some days. So let's jump right into it.
"I'm so glad I line in a world where there are Octobers" a digital print that I shared on our mantle, simple yet perfect for the day. It's a print that I purchased & I had it printed at CVS. The seller send you the digital file in several sizes for you to print. I adhered it to a frame of a canvas print. To keep with the simplicity, I added a few candle stick holders with black & ivory candles. Fall flowers in a cement urn & of course a crow complete the entire vibe.
Crows, are my staple Halloween piece to incorporate here at CCH. But when I wanted to add to the space above the mirror in the living room, I knew I wanted to go with a variety sized bats! Super easy to adhere to the space/wall. I did struggle a bit to find a pattern, that I would enjoy looking at through Halloween. I am happy with how it turned out. I may add more going the opposite direction towards the TV & around we shall see...
Both of the styles are very simple to do & cost-effective. I like to print at CVS as they have the best coupons. If you have any vintage frames & are ready to use, you can add your print to them. Candles, I am always on the lookout for them at estate sales, yard sales & FBMP. Fall florals, my favorite & affordable is Trader Joe's.
I hope that I have given you some simple Halloween inspiration for you to do over the weekend.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend & once again, Hello October.
